I am interested in visiting an island with potential for good new music from young artists like myself– what’s the best caribbean island to go to for inspiration or to find like-minded individuals who are ambitious with their career yet still have an island mindset?
Ideally, a beautiful, safe, peaceful place with rich scenery, but also with a substantial audience, ie large number of people passing through and a good modern city area.
Btw half of my family is Jamaican, so I am looking for options outside of there, as I already am familiar with the music happening there…
My boyfriend and I would like to travel to one of the Caribbean countries this summer, but have no idea which country to start with. We’re looking for a place that is fun for young couples, safe, cheap and not too many kids.

Turk and Caicos
Trinidad and Tobago
Barbados
Bermuda
Cayman Islands
Curacao

Hi, I’ve heard that Caribbean schools have a somewhat larger acceptance rate than American medical schools. Is this true, and if so, what are the acceptance rates?
I have many friends with this dilemma, believe it or not Brooklyn NY has a
sizable gay and lesbian population and most of these people are semi-closeted. This topic has "never" come up on any talk show, radio show, that I am aware of, but these people are born of old school British rule West Indian/Caribbean parents who’d rather disown you than to accept any part of a gay lifestyle. Some Hispanics are also pre-disposed to this attitude within their culture.
