Cruise Deals…??
want to go on a cruise next june. Our goal is to quit smoking and if we accomplish that, then we will reward ourselves with a cruise next June. any good websites that arent too confusing?? When is the best time to purchase, now or wait til that month?

every cruiser has their favorites. Mine are cruisedirect.com and priceline.com. Priceline is good for searching and gathering info. They have nice graphics and high speed servers. Cruisedirect is where I always book. No hidden fees or BS, just up to the minute pricing and availibilty.
Vacations to go is a good reliable web site for getting great deals on cruises. They have a 90 day ticker which means cruises that are leaving within the next 90 days. Do not wait till June as all the good cabins will be booked or the cruises will be full. Last minute for a cruise is 90 days to 60 days. Because of homeland security there is no such thing as getting a cruise like a week before sailing. If you book now it will also give your more motivation to quit smoking.
I agree with the other person that everyone has their own way of doing things. My suggestion is to start looking now. If you wait too long, you may not get the cruise or price you are looking for. Some cruises going down in price if they are not filling up, but some go up in price as they get closer. I usually do my searching through expedia, yahoo and vacations to go. Once I find the cruise I want for the price I want, then I call my travel agent. The reason I book through my travel agent, is because she can get me the same price, she knows what I like (I trust her), and if for some reason there are any problems or I need to change anything, I just call her and she takes care of it. So for the same price, I get personalized service. Good luck and have a great time.
